Adriana Lima. She speaks three languages, was discovered when she was 13, has been classified as the world’s sexiest virgin, and she dedicates her spare time and money to the ‘Caminos Da Luz’ orphanage in Bahia, her native home town in Brazil. We here at the Horn have a HUGE girl crush on this one. Wonder. Woman.

And in honor of Veteran’s Day earlier this week…

Yeah, we don’t really get where the plot with Friday Night Lights is going either. It works out – high school was sort of a blur of drama that didn’t make sense. At any point, Scott Porter looks great in the football pants and with the coach’s polo. What’s that? Give you 20? Yes sir. (Oh – and before we get “ew, gross, high school boy” comments – he was totally born in 1979!)

Now that our football season is essentially over (yes, I know I’m being melodramatic), I figure it’s time to look ahead to the baseball and softball seasons. So this week’s hotties are Texas Exes Cat Osterman and Huston Street.

On many blogs (including some of our favorites) written by males there tends to be some regular feature with beautiful women. Or the girls they pick are half naked classless skanks. Whatever. This is our attempt to uh…fill that spot… on the blog. We’d like to up the ante, per se, by picking women that are beautiful and who we don’t mind if our boyfriends ogle (just a little – let’s not get carried away). Why? Because she is sophisticated, charming, or we like her for some other reason. Put plainly: our girl-crushes. But then what about our fellow women? We had to include something for them too, so along with our weekly girl-crush feature, we’ll be serving up a little delicious man candy to go with it. SO without further ado:

Charlize Theron. Smart, funny, and a damn good actress.
