It’s Business, It’s Business Time

Posted by RubyLynn on November 21, 2007

“When it’s with me, you only need two minutes, girl”

We’re thankful for…

Reese Witherspoon. Beautiful, successful, and a wonderful actress. My personal fave is Election.

And another actor with a beautiful voice…

Ewan McGregor. Great actor who does great movies. I’m such a sucker for a man with a beautiful voice.

Business Time

Posted by RubyLynn on November 14, 2007

“You were like, “that’s it?” and I know you’re really like, “awww yeah…. that’s it.”

Adriana Lima. She speaks three languages, was discovered when she was 13, has been classified as the world’s sexiest virgin, and she dedicates her spare time and money to the ‘Caminos Da Luz’ orphanage in Bahia, her native home town in Brazil. We here at the Horn have a HUGE girl crush on this one. Wonder. Woman.

And in honor of Veteran’s Day earlier this week…

Nothing’s sexier than a man in uniform.

Especially when that man (in this case Navy’s Hawaiian QB Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada) will not only fight for our country, but against Notre Dame too!

It’s business, It’s business time

Posted by RubyLynn on November 8, 2007

“That’s why they’re called business socks.”

This week we’re doubling your pleasure.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They’re multi-gazillionaires (yeah, that’s right. gazillionaires), they control their entire empire, and have escaped child stardom relatively unscathed. You know, except for the rehab thing. Oh, and why the HELL is Ashley dating Lance Armstrong??!? That’s gross.

And for the ladies:

Kyle and Lane Carlson. Successful male models. They put Zoolander AND Hansel to shame.

They are totally football related. See?

It’s Business Time

Two minutes in heaven is better than one minute in heaven.”

Heidi Klum. Successful business woman, mom and producer (?) of one of our guilty pleasures: Project Runway.

Yeah, we don’t really get where the plot with Friday Night Lights is going either. It works out – high school was sort of a blur of drama that didn’t make sense. At any point, Scott Porter looks great in the football pants and with the coach’s polo. What’s that? Give you 20? Yes sir. (Oh – and before we get “ew, gross, high school boy” comments – he was totally born in 1979!)

It’s business, It’s business time

Posted by RubyLynn on October 3, 2007

“You’re not too tired from your afterwork social netball team practice.”

Now that our football season is essentially over (yes, I know I’m being melodramatic), I figure it’s time to look ahead to the baseball and softball seasons. So this week’s hotties are Texas Exes Cat Osterman and Huston Street.

Badass. That’s all I can say.

Don’t let that smile fool you. She could send a ball at you going 65 mph.

With his pro team, the Oakland A’s.

And in the beautiful burnt orange and white.

You can read more about Huston here and more about Cat here.

It’s business, It’s business time

Posted by RubyLynn on September 26, 2007

“But it’s okay because I turn it all into a sexy dance.”

Here ya go fellas:

That soft, touchable skin, those adorable ears, the knowing smile, the cute silly voice… what a great gal.

And for the ladies… We were going to find a picture of a Chicago Bear to put up, as a consolation prize for the ass-kicking they received from our beloved Cowboys, but upon finding that literally none of the Bears are good-looking enough to live up to our standards, we’re going with a tribute to the brand new Bachelor, Austinite Brad Womack:

Okay, okay… here’s the real one for the guys.

Carrie Underwood. Beautiful girl, beautiful voice. (But for the record, she can’t be an official girl-crush of ours because of her horrible, HORRIBLE fashion sense.)

Seriously? You can take the girl out of Oklahoma…

It’s business, It’s business time

Posted by RubyLynn on September 19, 2007

That’s all part of it. That’s foreplay.

Scarlett Johansson. Beautiful actress. Plus, she dated JT. Not too shabby.

Hockey season is officially underway, so this week’s hottie is Zach Parise of the NHL. Sure, he plays for the Devils, but he’s cute. And anyway, my Flyers beat them on Monday in the pre-season opener, so it’s all good.

It’s business, It’s business time

Posted by RubyLynn on September 12, 2007

I know what you’re trying to say. You’re trying to say it’s time for business.

Ali Larter. Really no other reason except she’s gorgeous… and we’re REALLY excited for Heroes to come back.

Continuing our Heroes theme, Sendhil Ramamurthy. We may not be able to pronounce his name correctly, but we don’t really care. He’s dreamy, especially with that accent.

It’s business, it’s business time

Posted by RubyLynn on September 5, 2007

It’s Wednesday night, the conditions are perfect.

Landon Donovan: MLS Soccer Beefcake. Goooooooooooaaaal!!!

Gwen Stefani: Original, funky and one hell of a set of pipes. Plus she married Gavin Rossdale. We may be jealous… but don’t tell our boyfriends. or Landon.

It’s Business, It’s Business Time

Posted by RubyLynn on August 29, 2007

On many blogs (including some of our favorites) written by males there tends to be some regular feature with beautiful women. Or the girls they pick are half naked classless skanks. Whatever. This is our attempt to uh…fill that spot… on the blog. We’d like to up the ante, per se, by picking women that are beautiful and who we don’t mind if our boyfriends ogle (just a little – let’s not get carried away). Why? Because she is sophisticated, charming, or we like her for some other reason. Put plainly: our girl-crushes. But then what about our fellow women? We had to include something for them too, so along with our weekly girl-crush feature, we’ll be serving up a little delicious man candy to go with it. SO without further ado:

Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron. Smart, funny, and a damn good actress.

Paul Rudd
Paul Rudd. Stole our hearts in Clueless and never gave them back.

And because I couldn’t help it:

You taste like a burger. I don’t like you anymore.
“You taste like a burger. I don’t like you anymore.”

Around now you say something sexy like “that’s it?” But I know what you’re thinking. “Aaww yeah… that’s it.”
